The latest edition of the Foresta magazine, dedicated to protected areas, includes a news article dedicatesd to the LIFE RedBosques_Clima project. The article introduces the project objectives and management strategies for ecosystem-based adaptation, aiming to increase the resilience of forests to the effects of climate change.
It also presents the drought vulnerability assessment index, which will allow forest managers to make a diagnosis of their areas, and the characteristics of a “good adaptation action”.
Foresta is a biannual magazine of the Official Association of Forestry Engineers and Graduates in Forestry and Natural Environment Engineering. Reaching technicians from all over the country, is an important milestone for the project’s knowledge transfer.
