Within the framework of the LIFE Red Bosques Clima project, whose ultimate goal is to promote nature-based solutions for the conservation and restoration of the ecological integrity of forests, the Parque Natural dels Port has hosted the fourth technical seminar of the LIFE project from 6 to 8 November 2024.
A score of forest management and protected area professionals have been able to participate in the seminar and visit the forest farms participating in the LIFE project in the Parque Natural dels Ports. In this way, they have been able to learn about the demonstrative actions carried out on the ground, such as the development of forest planning tools (forest management projects, herbivory plans and prescribed burning plans) and the execution of silvicultural treatments aimed at improving adaptation to climate change.
