From October 3 to 6, the EUROPARC Federation Conference took place in Leeuwarden, the capital of the Frisia region in the Netherlands. The conference celebrated the organization’s 50th anniversary and counted over 450 participants from more than 30 countries. During this special congress, experiences and initiatives were shared through plenary sessions, field visits, workshops, and the “Marketplace of Experiences” in areas such as climate change adaptation, management effectiveness, efforts to promote connectivity, and nature restoration.
The RedBosques:Clima project was presented to Conference delegates in the Marketplace of Experiences, called “Marketplace,” within the stall of the EUROPARC Federation national and regional sections. Informational materials about the project were distributed, and the key aspects of the initiative were explained to interested delegates.
